Chamber Music Masterclass

Traditionally, the festival will commence with a chamber music masterclass, together with the students of the School for Young Talent of the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. This will be led by violinist Irina Simon-Renes and cellist Ofer Canetti.

During the masterclass, the emphasis will be on the magic that occurs when playing in a small ensemble. The interaction, the way of communicating with each other.
The teachers themselves also play and teach from within the ensemble. That way, the before mentioned benefits will be instantly visible and tangible. A musical voyage of discovery that will hopefully inspire the students and offer them an experience they can take with them into their future careers.

This is a private event and only open to residents of Residentie Van Ommerenpark.
