Closing concert master class

Traditionally, the festival opens with a festive closing concert of the chamber music master class, together with students of the School for Young Talent of the Royal Conservatory, The Hague. This under the direction of violinist Irina Simon-Renes, violist Manuel Hofer and cellist Ofer Canetti.

During the masterclass, the emphasis will be on the magic that occurs when playing in a small ensemble. The interaction, the way of communicating with each other.
The teachers themselves also play and teach from within the ensemble. That way, the before mentioned benefits will be instantly visible and tangible. A musical voyage of discovery that will hopefully inspire the students and offer them an experience they can take with them into their future careers.
