He received a bachelor\u2019s degree at the Ghent and Canary Islands conservatories, followed by a master's degree at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel and a second master's degree at Conservatorium van Amsterdam.<\/p>\n<p>He recently won the 3rd prize at the Gazzelloni Piccolo Competition in Pescara, Italy.<\/p>\n<p>Texenen has been Solo piccolo with the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra and collaborates regularly with different orchestras in the Netherlands and Spain.<\/p>\n<p>He is member of the Khufu-Anch Wind Quintet and the Lothar Siemens Contemporary Music Ensemble.<\/p>\n<p>Together with the KCB Symfonieorkest in Brussels he played \"Originel (\u2026explosante-fixe\u2026)\u201d by P. Boulez at the Euroclassical Music Festival.
